Quote from Robert Brault

“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”

Be Positive

If you have nothing, but a positive attitude, you are doing far better than most.  Being positive is essential for a happy and healthy life and makes life easier to live, makes it easier to do what is necessary and makes others drawn to you.  When you are positive, it allows you to release your potential onto the world and use the knowledge and skills that you have accrued in their best light.  Needless to say, being positive will not let you do anything or get everything that you want, however, being positive will allow you to approach situations with ease and to maximize your projects, experiences, and relationships by putting your best foot forward.  Being positive will help you to cope better with temporary defeat and will help to inspire you to drive even harder towards success.

Be positive so that you can be and show others the best you.

 To your success,

Sincerely,

Quote from Seneca

“It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that things are difficult.”

-Seneca

Be Prepared

Everyone is familiar with the colloquial saying that, “Success is when preparation meets opportunity,” however, it is essential to realize how significant of an element preparation is, in order to understand how crucial it is to be prepared for the most important endeavors in your life.  When you arrive at your work place, be prepared to work so that you can competently contribute.  When you are with your loved ones, be prepared to enhance those relationships so that you can increase the quality of your time.  When you are going to be attending a meeting, be prepared to present your perspective and research so that you can further develop mutual objectives.   When you are well prepared, it reinforces your commitment to yourself in the task, goal, or action to which you have prepared for; it shows others that you care about yourself and that you care about the mutual benefit that can only come from you being suitably prepared.  Being properly prepared in what is important to you predisposes you to take advantage of the opportunities that you value and, thus, will enhance your interactions and your life.

Be prepared so that you can be ready when your opportunity comes.

To your success,

Sincerely,

Quote by John Wooden

“Talent is God-given.  Be humble.  Fame is man-given.  Be grateful.  Conceit is self-given.  Be careful.”

-John Wooden

Be Grateful

The best way to find satisfaction in your life is to be grateful for what you have.  When you are grateful for your experiences, your life, your strengths, your friends and the gifts that you have been given, you will find the peace in being that is required, in order for you to move forward in your life and to continue to pursue your aspirations. Be grateful for the situation that you are in.  Be grateful for the people in your life that inspire you and give you hope.  Be grateful for the opportunity that you have to do with your life that which you choose.  When you are grateful for your opportunities, it makes you at harmony with yourself and your being, and, being in this gracious harmony, enables you to absorb the best from your environment and gain the most out of your life.

Be grateful for what you have so that you can pursue that which you want.

To your success,

Sincerely,

An Old Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

-Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Quote by Marianne Williamson

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

-Marianne Williamson

Give Others The Benefit Of The Doubt

To give others the benefit of the doubt is to evaluate others based on their intentions, rather than evaluating others based on their actions.  When people reference the Golden Rule, “Treat others as you would like to be treated,” in fact, this is one manner of living this in your life.  Everyone desires to be given the benefit of the doubt.  All people want to be judged based on their intentions.  When you expect more of yourself and give others the benefit of the doubt, you become the bigger person and you become the model of reference.  When you give others the benefit of the doubt, you are telling others that you care more about the relationship than you do about the situation.  Take an extra moment to look at others’ intentions and to give others the benefit of the doubt and when you do, it automatically increases the quality of the relationship and the quality of your being.

Give others the benefit of the doubt so that you can treat others how they want to be treated.

To your success,

Sincerely,

“It is very important to generate a good attitude, a good heart, as much as possible. From this, happiness in both the short term and the long term for both yourself and others will come.”
